Prowlarr

Prowlarr is a versatile indexer manager that supports both Torrents and Usenet indexers.

It integrates seamlessly with popular media management tools like Radarr, Sonarr, rutorrent, NZBGet and SABnzbd.

To get started, simply visit the “Available Applications” page in your client area and click the green “Install” button to install Prowlarr.

Once installed the application can be accessed through the installed applications page.

Connect rtorrent/rutorrent to Prowlarr

In Prowlarr click the settings option in the left hand column.

Once the settings page opens go to the download clients option.

Once the download clients page opens, click the + box to add a download client.

The next page will display a box for each download client, on this page click the box named rtorrent.

Now we can enter the details for rutorrent to connect this to Prowlarr.

Name:rtorrent

Enable:Check

Host:nlxxxx.dediseedbox.com (This is the hostname you use to access your service without the https:// part)

Port:443 (The rutorrent port is always 443)

Use SSL:Check

Url Path:/rutorrent/plugins/httprpc/action.php

Username:(Enter your rutorrent username)

Password:(Enter your rutorrent password)

Once these details are entered click the Test and then Save button.

Connecting Sonarr/Radarr to Prowlarr

Go to the settings in Prowlarr.

When the settings page appears click the Apps option.

Now click the + button to add Sonarr/Radarr

When the next page appears click Sonarr/Radarr to add the application details, in this guide we will be adding Radarr.

Name:Radarr

Prowlarrr Server:https://nlxxxx.dediseedbox.com:12345 (Enter in this field the full URL you use to access Prowlarr)

Radarr Server:https://nlxxxx.dediseedbox.com:12345 (Enter in this field the full URL you use to access Radarr)

ApiKey: (The API key is taken from the Radarr settings in the General section)

Click the Test button and then Save.

The process is identical for adding Sonarr to Prowlarr.

Updating Prowlarr

Prowlarr can be updated by clicking the restart Prowlarr button in the client area.

If the SSL certificates for Prowlarr expire these can be updated by clicking the restart Prowlarr button in the client area.
